The fusion of recorder and theorbo to create the fantasy instrument "theorbo flute".

Kathrin Härtel (recorders) and Konrad Hauser (historical plucked instruments) met at the HfMDK Frankfurt am Main in 2015.
Following their shared love of early music, they have been performing together as Duo Flauto Attiorbato ever since.
The ensemble brings music from the Baroque and Renaissance periods to life by using a wide variety of timbres from the different types of recorders and lute instruments of the time.
In this way, unique sound experiences make the "works from the baroque era shine" (Neue Osnabrücker Zeitung).
